The Dorset Historical Society’s Third-Thursday Lunch-Lecture on January 18 will feature Jonah Spivak, Town of Bennington’s Communications Coordinator.
Our region played a major role in the story of the founding of Vermont and our nation during the 1775-1777 time period. The 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence is in 2026. Learn about past commemorations as well as plans and ideas for the upcoming 250th anniversary years.
DHS’s TTLLs begin at noon and last about an hour. Attendees are invited to bring some lunch; desserts and drinks will be provided. The event is free, open to all and handicapped accessible.
